Sparksoft is a software development company based in Porto, Portugal. Since 2018 we have built custom software, web platforms, mobile apps, cloud and applied Artificial Intelligence for SMEs and for companies across the UK, Ireland and the EU. We are a small, senior team, which means whoever talks to you is whoever builds: there is no management layer between the decision and the execution. We apply AI where it makes sense, not for the hype.
What we do as a software development company
We cover the full software development cycle, from initial analysis to evolutive maintenance: custom software and systems integration, websites and online stores, mobile apps for iOS and Android, cloud and DevOps on Azure and AWS, IT security and compliance, technology consulting and Artificial Intelligence applied to business processes. Since 2018, we have delivered projects for brands like Pizza Hut UK, Big Table Group and Groves UK.
Working with a team in Portugal is a practical decision before it is a cost one. We are in the same time zone as the UK and Ireland, so there is no overlap window to negotiate and a morning call is a morning call for both sides. We are inside the EU, so the contractual and GDPR framework is the one you already operate under, with no data-transfer questions to answer. How does a project with Sparksoft start?
With a 30-minute conversation, free and with no commitment, to work out whether there is a fit. If there is, a Discovery of one to two weeks follows and produces the technical roadmap, the agreed scope, the identified risks and an execution proposal. If there is not, we say so.
